What this page is for
When an administrator creates your account or resets your password, they give you a temporary password. The first time you sign in with it, you must choose your own password here. Until you do, the rest of CityLights is not available.
Who can use it
Anyone who signed in with a temporary password.
How to choose your password
- In Temporary password, type the password your administrator gave you.
- Type your new password, then type it again.
- Select Save and continue. You are taken to the dashboard.

Statuses and automation
Saving clears the "must change password" flag in every organisation you belong to. Your administrator never sees your new password.

FAQs
Can I skip this? No. Temporary passwords are known to someone else, so they must be replaced.
I don't have the temporary password any more. Ask your administrator to set a new temporary password.
