What this page is for
See the company's own income, not the properties': its share of each property's result, less overheads such as salaries and the costs of running the company.
Who can use it
See company income (by default Admin only).
How to run it
- In Period, open Period and pick a quick choice (This month, Last month, This year, Last year) or tick months in the grid, moving between years with the arrows (Whole year ticks all twelve), then select Apply. Any mix of months and years works (this year so far by default), then select Show.
- Read the Running total column for the total up to each row.
Fields and columns
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Share of property results | For every property: net income minus its expenses minus what is due to its owner, by its payout rule. |
| of which management fees | The management fees inside that share. |
| Overheads left out of P&L | Expenses marked "not in P&L", such as salaries. |
| Company costs | Expenses with no property, or on a company cost centre. |
| Company income | Share minus overheads minus company costs. |
| Running total | The total of the chosen months up to this row. |
Statuses and automation
Uses the same rules as Profit and loss: confirmed stays and no-shows by check-in month, cancelled stays only the amount kept, approved expenses only. Months still to come are left out. Older links with a year still work.
Settings that change this page
Owner payout rules, the company cost centre setting on each property, and expense categories' "not in P&L" flag.
FAQs
Why is a month negative? Overheads and company costs were higher than the company's share of the properties' results.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| The share looks too high | Check each property's owner payout rule. |
