Pivot tables

Bookings, nights, revenue or average price per night, with the rows and columns you choose.

What this page is for

Answer questions like "revenue per property per month" or "nights per channel per property" in one table, without a spreadsheet.

Who can use it

See pivot tables (by default Admin, Finance, Sales and Viewer).

How to build a table

  1. Choose the months.
  2. Choose what goes in the Rows and the Columns: property, month or channel (or Total only for columns).
  3. Choose what to Show: bookings, nights, revenue (gross or net of platform fees) or average price per night.
  4. Choose the currency and properties, and select Show.

Fields and columns

Field Meaning
Rows / Columns Property, check-in month, or channel (the booking's platform, else how it was added).
Show Bookings (count), Nights, Revenue (gross), Revenue (net of platform fees) or Average price per night.
Total The row's or column's total. Average price per night is total revenue divided by total nights, not an average of averages.

Statuses and automation

Confirmed stays and no-shows count, by check-in month. Stays split at month ends count their nights in each month. Revenue is converted at each stay's own month's rate.

Settings that change this page

The system currency (base currency under Settings).

FAQs

Which currency are the amounts in? Always the system currency (the base currency under Settings). Amounts recorded in another currency are converted at the exchange rate of their month. An amount whose month has no rate is left out and a warning with a link to Exchange rates appears; currencies are never added together or shown as separate totals.

Why are some columns empty? A month or channel with no bookings for that row shows a blank cell.

Troubleshooting

Problem What to do
The table is too wide Swap rows and columns, or choose fewer months.
