What this page is for
Every long stay. A tenancy blocks its unit on the calendar for its whole period and invoices rent every month.
Who can use it
See tenants and tenancies (by default Admin, Operations, Finance, Sales and Viewer). Adding and running tenancies needs Add tenants and run tenancies (Admin, Operations, Finance).
How to add a long stay
- Select Add tenancy.
- Choose an existing tenant or type a new one.
- Fill in the unit, dates, rent and other charges, and select Save.
- On the tenancy, select Start tenancy.
Fields and columns

| Period | First and last day. "Rolling" means no end date yet. |
| Each month | Rent, service charge and fixed utilities. |
| Status | Draft, Active, Notice given, Ended. |
Statuses and automation
- Every morning: tenancies whose last day has passed end and stop billing; rolling tenancies stay blocked a year ahead; yearly increases are applied on the anniversary.
- Ended tenancies are hidden unless you choose Ended.

FAQs
Is a tenant a guest? No. Tenants are kept separately, but they can be linked to a company.
