What this page is for
Many modules have options: when reminders go out, which features inside the module are on, or the keys used to connect to another service. This page shows the options of one module. You reach it from the Settings button on the module's card in Modules.
Who can use it
People with Change organisation and module settings (by default Admin) and the account owner. The page only exists while the module is on.
How to change module settings
- Open Modules and select Settings on the module.
- Change the options. Each one has a short explanation under it.
- Select Save.
Secret values (keys and passwords)
Secret values, such as API keys, are stored encrypted and are never shown again after saving. The box shows dots when a value is saved.
- To keep the saved value, leave the box empty.
- To replace it, type the new value and save.
Fields and columns
Each module has its own options. Every option shows:
| Part | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Label | What the option controls. |
| Box, number or tick box | The value. Tick boxes switch a feature inside the module on or off. |
| Hint | A short explanation and any limits, such as allowed numbers. |
Statuses and automation
- Every change is recorded in the Change history. Secret values appear there only as dots.
- New values take effect immediately, including for automatic tasks.
Settings that change this page
This page is itself the settings. The module's own help page explains each option in detail.
FAQs
I can't find the Settings button. The module is off, or it has no options.
Can I see a saved key to check it? No, for security. Type it again if you are not sure it is right.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| A value is rejected | Read the error at the top. Numbers must be within the limits shown in the hint. |
| The page shows "Not found" | The module was switched off, or has no settings. |
